FURA

Björt has performed and released music under the artist alias “FURA”. Her music has been featured in several films, “Mens vi Lever” (2017), “Agnes Joy” (2019), and has seen multiple international collaborations.

Björt worked on the FURA project together with the producers Hallur Jónsson and Janus Rasmussen, who also performed with the project in the years 2014-2016. They released their debut album 'Poems of the Past' in collaboration in 2016.

In 2016, Troels Holdt and Emil Vissing, danish musicians joined the live band of FURA, together with Rasmus Stride and Hilmar Guðjónsson as Vj’s, touring around Europe for several years.

The FURA project released three music videos in collaboration with three up and coming female video artists. Wolverine came out in 2016, made by Kamilla Gylfadóttir, Demons came out the same year, made by Carla Zimbler and Daydream came out in 2017 made by Sandra Ólafsdóttir
